RS485 Interface With GPIO, Programme Controller
The GW485USB offers much flexibility. Once installed the GW485USB simply adds an extra communications port to your PC, this makes the GW485USB simple to install and use. The RS485 communications can be run in either full (4-wire) or half (2-wire) duplex mode at a variety of baud rates up to 5Mb/s and the IO can be controlled and configured via simple commands via the communication port. (This can be disabled and the advanced features (baud rate, IO control and setup) can be controlled via a simple DLL interface).
The GW485USB can be used direct from a PC via USB or can be powered using a USB power supply and run as a stand-alone device on an existing RS485 network.
The four user selectable IO connections can be setup as either input or output, analog or digital (analog output is via open-collector PWM) and controlled by either the USB or RS485.
